Creating the above sketch note video was one of the most frustrating experiences I have had in a long time. I am an admirer of this style of video and am often amazed by what creators can do with whiteboards and video editing. It is incredible. I have learned that I can do about 1% of that.

While I knew there were simpler ways to manage such a video on paper, I wanted the challenge of the whiteboard. My original vision for the video was for me to write and speak at the same time. However, the obvious problem of how quickly I can explain, as compared to how quickly I can write out questions. Once, I reframed and resigned to editing the footage. Which down the line, proved difficult as I continue to familiarize myself with the software.

Ultimately, I am not particularly pleased with this product. I wish it were cleaner, my camera was better placed, and the lighting was better. These are all things I will consider for future projects like this. My respect for the sketch note video has only deepened.
